Fastest way to reach us
Email [email protected] — a real person reads every message, usually within 24 hours. Include the device ID shown in Settings → About in the app so we can find your record.
Common fixes
- Story won't generate — generation takes about 30 seconds and needs a network connection. If it fails, your free quota is not consumed; try again on a stable connection.
- Audio won't play — check that the phone isn't muted and volume is up. Downloaded stories replay offline; a story still generating needs to finish first.
- Monthly quota didn't reset — the free allowance resets on the 1st of the month in your local timezone. Fully close and reopen the app to refresh the counter.
- Restore a purchase — open Settings in the app and use the restore option on the paywall, or reinstall the app while signed into the same Apple ID.
Subscriptions & billing
HabitStories Standard is billed through the App Store. To change or cancel your plan, open iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → HabitStories. Apple handles all payments and refunds — we can't issue refunds directly, but email us if something looks wrong and we'll help.
Privacy & your data
Your child's first name and birth date stay on your device — see the Privacy Policy for the full technical breakdown. To delete everything:
- On-device data — Settings → Data & Privacy → Reset App Data in the app.
- Server-side data — email [email protected] with the device ID from Settings → About and we'll delete the associated records.
